I like the anonymous approach since it doesn't give the read a clue about the author. However, the author's style might come through but that will be minimal.

I like the idea of an African-type setting on distant worlds. Who knows what lurks out there except the animals that inhabit such a place! They might be strange to us, and we might be just a strange to them. Lost worlds---I'm sure the universe is full of them. I'm interested!

This might have been mentioned, but one time Lester drew a picture, and we had to write a flash fiction based on how the picture inspired us. It was an interesting take, and I enjoyed it. We created a story from a picture!
