The Halloween Party Guest by Gary Davis

Entertaining story, and one the I really enjoyed reading. Good writing in this one. Here is a Halloween story with a good twist to it, and the story holds your interest until the end.

To recap: Good writing, believable dialogue, and enjoyable!

Good job!

The Lighted Fountains of Nereid by Steven Translateur

A short one almost flash fiction. Space story set on Planet Neptune satellite Nereid that uses robots for manual labor. The moon or planet gets invaded and the former inhabitants have to work. Then, the higher government sends in 50 spaceships, and the invaders are driven out. Things go back to norm...

The Jar and the Juggernaut by Daniel Ross Goodman

What a creative story! I really liked this one since it symbolizes many desires and trials that everyday people must handle in life. Substance abuse, gambling problems, sex, egotism just to name a few, but we also have Reality TV that has captured the attention of so many now. But being addicted to ...

Kept me in suspense. I can’t figure out what’s going on in this story, but the story held my interest until the end. A flood! I lived through a flood once and can say how scary and surprising the events unfold when water is rising. Although, in this story the waters seems to cascade down the steps a...

Liked it from beginning to end. I love a story that grabs my attention and keeps it, whether it’s sword and sorcery, sci-fi or mainstream fiction. I always think of ‘The Most Dangerous Game’ when critiquing a story, and use that story as a gauge when critiquing another story. I like how the wife was...

Forgotten Nightmare by Charles Moulton

A touch of surrealism in this story which creates a stage in which a husband and wife argue over their future. However this future is defined by aliens. Are the aliens savors or conquers? The story suggest conquers enslaving humans, but for what purpose. The aliens would not need humans in factories...

I like it. But I doubt very much if an alien spacecraft would need directions in order to find a star system. But you never know. Perhaps they think more on a questioning-thought process in which they have developed skills in communication far advance beyond our understanding. I don't know. Anything...

I never read poetry much, but I did enjoy yours. If I remember the structure of Poetry, you beat hooked me into reading it further. The one poem I always liked in high school was The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. I think it was his monotonous beat coupled with a dreary night and of all things a bird. I ...

Love how Dan can captivate the reader, and hold the reader's attention until the end! That is a true art, and with story telling we need little else. The characters were believable, and the mission believable, in fact, that just might be the method of delivering a U-2 at that time. They could fly hi...

Good into, it worked for me! This is a story set in the future will all the robotic that Robert Heinlein and Issac Asimov once wrote about. I read many stories by these authors in the 60s that suggested a world like this one.

Nice read.

I like it. The descriptions with all the graphic and interesting use of words and word choices became a pleasure as I read. I felt like I were in Venice at times. Writing in the first person has many advantages: A closeness can be felt which gets us into the story better than the third person. And w...

Reminded me of the old detective stories from Humphrey Bogart’s era. The language, the quick one liners and the interaction between Rick and Lieutenant Cochran and the others at the Blue Gardens! I used to drink at a place called the Blue Gardens once years ago, and they also had go-go dancers! Ever...

Nice story with a human element in it. Even Robots can be ‘humanized’ in a story, we’ve seen that in Star Wars.

I liked the dialogue, word choices and sensory inputs used throughout this story.

A nice read and a good job to Deepti Nalavade Mahule who gave us this pleasant read.

Good job!
