I finally just read this one. It's not bad, but seemed maybe a little hurried; it could stand to be slowed down and developed some more. Needs a better denouement. It was an easy read, though.
Also, I was hoping to get some better clue about the breath spray from the bible verse; scriptural references are typically more direct. On the other hand, scriptural references are usually more preachy, too, so this is good. I think I have the perfect name for the product: Angel Breath.
Actually, this guy's affliction could be okay, as long as he learns control (hopefully to the point of not needing the spray) -- a great self-defense weapon. He'd just have to be sure the wind was at his back. Some of you may have read a story called "The Girl Had Guts" by Theodore Sturgeon.
