A Long Distance Type o’ Guy by Florin Purluca

Post by Megawatts »

The writing was good and the intro did get my attention. To understand the story better, I stopped reading and read Mr. Purluca’s bio. A degree in Clinical Psychology and working in a psychiatric hospital would suggest that he would write stories with a ‘mental twist’ or psychological implication or even with Freudian concepts. This story suggests how an immortal might spend time with one of his loved ones.

I don’t believe that the protagonist was a vampire, but I can’t say that for sure. This was an interest read and one that’s hard to critique. The story stands for itself!’

Nice story, and I picked up the subtle hints of his immortality as I read through. I enjoyed the imagery and the way you portrayed a long-term relationship by focusing on mundane little details.

Good job; thanks!
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?
