Interesting story about time travel. We don’t have a true time machine, but the figurine enables one to travel though time when it’s burst, usually by dropping it on the floor I assume.
The story holds one’s interests from beginning to end.
This story reminds me of 'An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge' by Ambrose Bierce when the hanging took place near the end.
