The Jar and the Juggernaut by Daniel Ross Goodman

Post by Megawatts »

What a creative story! I really liked this one since it symbolizes many desires and trials that everyday people must handle in life. Substance abuse, gambling problems, sex, egotism just to name a few, but we also have Reality TV that has captured the attention of so many now. But being addicted to Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in a future world that has made junk food illegal would be very surreal, I’m sure. And the punishment: A large steel boot that lowers every time the prisoner eats a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup----that's the only food he has. He spends 93 day in his jail before he is informed that it is Reality TV!

A comical story, entertaining and one that holds you interest until the end.

Very good job!
