The poem is a good read. One critique. I've made this critique before regarding speed reading. For me each line of this poem is worthy of being an individual building block of the poem. Thus for me each line separated by an *, or ~, or any physical break would have made it flow seamlessly for me. As it is I have to slow down and insert the breaks myself and thus the enjoyment now turns into work.

I cannot speak for those who read in real time, only for those that consume hundreds of words in seconds.
