how come it for two months now? i thought only the holiday issue was a double.

Lee
Well, it was that or just skip September without saying anything about it ... seeing as the issue was going online pretty much in the last week of August. If readers and authors would just pay the Editorial Mafia decent wages for their services, eliminating the need for day jobs (or in Dan's case, shift work -- I think the rest of us are shiftless ;)), and constant prayer to the deity of your choice could prevent other non-Aphelion concerns from interfering, we'd be On Time Every Month.

But seriously, folks, the factors contributing to this year's multiple missing issues should subside somewhat -- barring natural or industrial disasters, that is. And Jeff said that he was gonna keep us in line so we can start posting new issues BEFORE the middle of the month. (He said that, oh, two or three months ago. :-[)

If I'd'a known this was a double issue, I'd'a thrown a few more stories into the mix, even though The Usual Suspects seem to be saying that they can't find the time to read all the stories in a regular issue anyway.

hey who are these usual suspects anyway?

but still, an issue is always a joy so keep em coming!

Lee
Well, YOU are one. Take a look at the list of Members -- the Usual Suspects would be those who post comments on a fairly regular (or sometimes compulsive) basis.

I'm not compulsive, I'm obsessive :)
So you don't feel compelled to post comments ... but you think about it all the time.

Robert, i am truly honored, no sarcasm even remotely intended.

we come here coz it's good, and will continue doing so. if i must be suspect, then let it be of something like this.

Lee
So you'd prefer it if we didn't mention that indictment for interstate trafficking in the hard-to-get Porn Star Barbie doll? (You know the one, featured in Barbie Goes Down Under, where the director says, "'S'truth, mate, we need more action! Throw another Ken on the Barbie!")
