Interesting story, and I liked it. The Macabre! Spirits from the other world are aways welcomed, and this one had an unusal twist at the end. Like most stories, this ending reminded me of-- of all things---- the Edmunds Fitzgerald Why? At the end of a documentary about the sunken ore carrier, a butterfly landed on the ship's bell that had just been retrieved!! Everybody at the ceremony on board a ship directly above the Edmumds, became stunned at the sight of a butterfly that far out in Lake Superior!!
The poignant encounter with the butterfly left all thinking that it must be a sign from the crew of the Edmunds.

Symbolism used properly elevates stroy-telling, and the moth at the end if this story proves that!!!

Overall, nice!!!1
