... for authors who were hoping for comments, anyway. 12 comments (including 2 in the "August issue is online" topic) in 7-and-a-bit days. And Nate hasn't even posted this month's Challenge yet!

See? It's not my fault. :)

I work close to a double day on Tuesdays, so I'm not much use by the time I finish with Wednesday's shift. I have read 4 stories so far, but haven't had time to post comments yet.

But I will, soon. Waiting for the brain fog to clear, but the forecast isn't promising.

Gee, apparently whining works. At least Gareth DJ and Nate are stepping up to the Critics' Corner microphone ...

You fools! Obviously, you haven't read your T. S. Eliot. Otherwise you'd know that APRIL is the cruelest month! :P ;D

YOU'D LIKE ME TO THINK THAT!

I see from your profile that you were born in May, and every poet knows that May is full of darling buds, which you would keep as close to you as possible, so I clearly cannot read the post in front of you.

BUT, you've also been an editor, and editors have to read a lot of slushpile entries. Editors *hate* slushpile entries and would keep them as far away from themselves as possible, so I clearly cannot read the post in front of me!

... And I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy. And it is better to be pissed off than pissed on. (I'm suffering from PPSD - post post stress disorder.)

what am i, chopped chtorran liver?
More like pate de gaakh gras. (Well, it isn't really pate -- the pieces have to be big enough to be moving, or the Klingons will refuse to eat it.) ::)

Though some stories have still sadly been ignored. :'(
Hey, the entire features *section* tends to get ignored. And I've been putting stuff in there too. New stuff, every month!

I may pout.

You mean the "Features" button isn't just a decoration?

Wow. Look at that. there are articles there, and everything. What will they think of next? ;)

Well, hopefully, they'll think of reading them, and maybe saying something about them, I dunno. :)

Maybe if you changed the button label to "Nude Celebrities!"? Of course, the comments would probably be a bit rude, but we are all starved for feedback around here...
