As one of the honorees, my suspicion is that I threw so many stories into the hat, one of them HAD to get picked. It's a cheap tactic (aside from the sweat, eyestrain, and carpal tunnel syndrome), but a good one.<br><br>Robert M.

<br>Just because I obsess over details:<br><br>39 Serials (counting each part as a separate entry)<br>85 Shorts (4 of them Mare)<br>72 Poems/Filk (approximately, since the December ones are not up yet)<br><br>Are there "Best Of" awards in the Poetry category as well?<br><br>NateAt the usual average of 8 to 10 short stories and 3 serials per issue, there were somewhat over 100 stories to pick from.
