As one of the honorees, my suspicion is that I threw so many stories into the hat, one of them HAD to get picked. It's a cheap tactic (aside from the sweat, eyestrain, and carpal tunnel syndrome), but a good one.<br><br>Robert M.

At the usual average of 8 to 10 short stories and 3 serials per issue, there were somewhat over 100 stories to pick from.
