I want one of these...

...but I want one sturdy enough to actually bonk somebody with. Presumably if the glass "blade" tube remains intact, the laser light is diffuse enough to be... less dangerous than when uncontained, anyway (unfiltered, the laser is powerful enough to ignite a safety match from a few feet away). However, it sounds like there is enough leakage to require laser-grade goggles even with the "blade" intact. I guess they figured that "frosting" the tube would spoil the "growing blade" effect.

Like what, you take a hit to the mid section and evaporate into your hooded cloak. Aren't you suppose to become more powerful than anyone can ever imagine or something like that!
Maybe you become a better liar. Am I the only one who ever noticed that the only people telling the truth were on the Dark Side?
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?
