 :D

Also, this story has been written by me and my (unfortunately now dead) old friend Ernesto CANEPA , as it was mainly an old idea of his used for some RPG sessions at our Club that I recently completed and put on (electronic) paper with some modifications, indeed.

(By the way, as praise for my short-story above indicated, here I post the review that an author/reader wrote on Goodreads about that as follows):

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/63274325-lovecraftiana?from_search=true&from_srp=true&qid=Ok5TvSQhl6&rank=20#CommunityReviews

Here's what he thought of it...

"The Invisible Fleet – Sergio Palumbo
The somber style, tempo and worldbuilding of this story made me think that it could be one of the lost stories written by Lovecraft himself. It’s not particularly scary though, but it is a very enjoyable read nevertheless.
"

- "The Road of Lost Hopes…” in "Faery Flying" - Anthology".

For anyone interested, another Weird/Steampunk Short-Story written by me in American/English, title "“The Road of Lost Hopes…”", set in a sort of Steampunk country, where technology has made its first jump to much better life conditions, though what it brings along with it, some illnesses, might not be so pleasing to a few individuals, in a way…has been recently chosen to be included inside the American Fantasy/Steampunk book titled "Faery Flying" - Anthology" by Fae Corps Inc ...

This story has been written by me and my (unfortunately now dead) friend Ivan BERTAZZONI, as it was mainly an old idea of his that I completed and put on (electronic) paper with some modifications, after some Steampunk/Sci-Fi RPG sessions of some time ago.
