Countdown to November issue

Post by Robert_Moriyama »

Due to miscellaneous Unfortunate Events (a car accident last Wednesday, power supply burnout on my home PC Thursday), I was even further behind than usual this month. But Doc now has all the pieces required to put the November issue together Real Soon Now...

So if you have any more October material to read and comment on, either copy the links so you can get at the items directly (pending an update to the Back Issues Index), or read 'n' comment ASAP.

Still waiting to hear if car is a write-off

Post by Robert_Moriyama »

I was out of town from Thursday afternoon until this evening, and there were no messages on my home answering machine. They may have left a message on my work voice-mail... we shall see.

Car is to be repaired -- ready in a week or so

Post by Robert_Moriyama »

Good news -- the body shop says that the car will NOT be written off. Better news -- it may be ready as early as this coming weekend if all goes well in terms of parts delivery.

I'm glad your car is going to be ok. Lack of transportation sucks.

But you got my hopes up. When I saw you posted in this thread, I thought you might have gotten some intel on when the issue is coming out. Dan had posted on Facebook five days ago that everything was almost ready.

Maybe tonight...

Post by Robert_Moriyama »

Rob sez November might be live sometime tonight. (We're working by the Julian calendar (it belongs to Julian Sands, who often forgets to flip the pages, what with worrying about his son, Kal-El).)
