Yeah, with as much as all my polls were messed with, so much so I can't do them anymore, I totally don't expect this to work.

Still, good luck. Maybe the troll moved on.

Trolls don't move... they lurk

Silly boy. Trolls, when not visible, retreat to their preferred hiding places. Under bridges (preferably near sewage ponds and toxic waste dumps), under rocks (said rocks being remarkably free of worms and pale, unhealthy-looking grubs, since even worms and grubs have SOME pride), that sort of thing. The scent of a poll will bring them (or perhaps just "it" -- trolls are so hideous that they rarely mate, so their population declines over time) shambling out to defile whatever they touch.

Dan, Rob, best get the industrial-size Lysol and Febreze sprayers ready...

The only caveat I want to add about this:

Winning a poll is a tremendous amount of egoboo for the person who wins. But it does bugger-all to help them improve as a writer.

So, if you vote, great, but don't forget to go to the thread for that story and actually *talk* about it. The entire point of this forum is to discuss the stories, poems, and features that are in the issue.
