The June / July double issue is just around the corner, with two novellas, 20 short stories, a molehill of poetry (that is, a hill containing 6.02214×10^23 poetons (1 poeton being, of course, the standard unit of poetry)), book reviews and other features, and a guest editorial by Dan's esteemed life partner, a.k.a. She Who Must Be -- ow! (She has a great throwing arm -- hit me upside the head at a range of close to 700 miles.)
Anyway, you only have a day or three to post additional comments while you can easily access the stuff upon which you wish to pontificate. (And no, "pontificate" is not what a pontifex does in the woods.)

You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.

Vestal Virgins
By Pontifex
Raging rag.
On the rag.
Raging bull.
***
Marriage to that which faith cannot see.
Faith to that which no one can see.
Navigate the sea as far as the Indians.
***
Saracens.
Mahomet.
The Bull.
***
What does this all mean?
What additional comment can it mean?
Vestal virgins have no place here, none as the battle between is lost.
***
1455, another year of decree.
Vesta lost to the Virgin's Son.
Blood flows monthly as proof for all to see.
***
Careful in your choice of faith.
Careful of new decree.
Careful of the coming month.
June/July, we shall see.
***
The end
