A Mobius Red by Neil Burlington

Post by kailhofer »

I have to say in fairness that my brain may be in too much of a turkey-induced fog to be operating on a level high enough to really appreciate this story.

However, I've tried 3 times. I just can't get into it. I keep skipping ahead.

I'm not drawn in by the opener, and can't seem to get back in after that.

Basically, I believe this is a story was about two prisoners and a scientist who observes them escaping from a underground prison into a world destroyed by an unknown weapon. One of them jumps into some energy vortex and then I really didn't understand from there, probably because I kept skipping ahead. It seemed like one of them is transformed by the experience into someone/something else... and then I really got lost after that point.

Can anyone lend a hand on this one?

Nate
