We'd be happy if you said something relevant.

You know, we tell people to post a message or just say hello so the system will let them vote. This person voted after posting this. I don't know if it's the same "babyboo" who previously posted 6 messages, but I would assume so.

Usually when I see something like this someone forgot a password or had difficulty logging back in, especially when I see an accompanying vote PM.

I know your spam radar is always active and ready to signal for a banning barrage to keep out the Horde, Lester, but this one doesn't sound like a troll to me, and the numbers seemed like a legitimate evaluation.

Thanks for your vote, Babyboo.

Well, Nate, I didn't act against this person, because they had no sales link or other indication they were a spammer. I thought maybe one of the other staff might kick 'em; that's happened before. And it did occur to me they might have made a first post so they could vote.

Babyboo, whoever you are, I hope we didn't run you off with the somewhat harsh greeting. We've been swimming in spammers for a while, now. Thanks for voting, and feel free to add your comments on the stories and poems here.

The original "babyboo" account is still there, with 6 posts, mostly re: flash contest stories... So I would assume that she ("babyboo" doesn't sound very MANLY to me -- unless it's an ironic pet name for somebody like "Refrigerator" Perry, in which case it's just dripping with testosterone) is a legitimate poster, albeit one with a narrow focus. (It seems unlikely that we will see a lengthy babyboo(3) commentary on a 50,000 word novella, for example.)

By the way, bottomdweller has indicated that she will be contacting her lawyers regarding misappropriation of any and all devil-related imagery, including in smilies. And she is much scarier than Lester, even without the rifle.

Your preference for moving targets comes to the fore yet again...
