I didn't bother trying to read it a second time because I just didn't think it would help. I could never be sure of the point of view, and the dialog was very confusing.

The whole thing is like scattered fragments. If McCamy actually figured out what happened, she's doing better than I could. She's right, though; if this thing were put into a verse structure, it'd be great poetry; a lot of the language is surprising and beautiful.
